SETH

Third son of Adam and Eve, replacing Abel, whom Cain murdered (Gn 4:25). He appears as the firstborn son of Adam in the genealogies of Genesis 5:3-8, 1 Chronicles 1:1 (kjv “Sheth”), and Luke 3:38. It was through Seth’s line that Jesus was born. Seth was the father of Enosh and lived 912 years.
