Abidan’s father and leader of Benjamin’s tribe when the Israelites were roaming in the Sinai wilderness after their escape from Egypt (Nm 1:11; 2:22; 10:24). As leader, Gideoni presented his tribe’s offering at the consecration of the tabernacle (7:60-65).
