CROCODILE

Large aquatic, flesh-eating reptile with a lizardlike body; long, pointed head; long, powerful tail; and short legs. Although specifically mentioned once (Lv 11:30) in some versions, it is often identified with the Leviathan of Job 41. See Animals.
