BAKBUKIAH

1. Shammua’s son, a Levite who assisted Mattaniah at the thanksgiving services in the temple (Neh 11:17).

2. Levite who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel after the exile (Neh 12:9).

3. One of the gatekeepers who had charge of collection centers at the temple gates (Neh 12:25).

It is not clear whether these references refer to one, two, or three persons.
