BAAL-TAMAR

Place between Gibeah and Bethel in Benjamin’s territory, north of Jerusalem. There the 11 other Israelite tribes rallied their forces in a final victorious battle against the tribe of Benjamin over crimes committed in the city of Gibeah (Jgs 20:33).
