ALGUM*

Wood imported from Lebanon (2 Chr 2:8) and possibly Ophir (2 Chr 9:10-11) for the construction of the temple and the palace and for musical instruments. The term may be a copyist’s error of transposition for “almug” tree. See Almug; Plants (Algum).
